In early July, we launched Ultramar's first Mentoring Program, designed to promote continuous learning and encourage the exchange of experiences among our employees. This initiative seeks to give continuity to the transversal training programs: Young Professionals and Leadership Seal, which are already in their fourth edition this 2024.
This initiative involves the participation of 24 pairs composed of mentor and mentee in 10 countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Panama, Uruguay, Mexico, Canada, Peru and the United States, and the participants have already begun their training sessions.
The objective, in addition to having a positive impact on the teams, is also to strengthen networks and promote integration between areas. Mirella Yataco, Globaldesk Transtotal Supervisor in Peru, noted:
“I am excited to be part of this experience, as it will allow me to acquire new knowledge and tools that will contribute to my professional and personal development. The opportunity to learn from outstanding mentors and share my own experiences is also an excellent opportunity to expand my network of contacts”.
Ariel Bravo, Manager of the Punta Arenas Branch of Ultramar Agencia Marítima, expressed his enthusiasm:
“My goal is to transmit the Organizational Culture to mentees, contributing to the formation of professionals committed to Ultramar's values and objectives. At the same time, I seek to continue developing myself as a mentor, sharing my experience and team leadership”.
The Mentoring Program will be carried out throughout the second half of the year, with continuous monitoring by Ultramar's Project and People Development Department.
