Promoting and strengthening relationships of trust and dialogue with our stakeholders was the theme of the first workshop organized by our Ultramar Corporate Sustainability area for all Business Units in Chile and abroad.
On Wednesday, July 19, this activity took place with the guest speaker being the Sustainability team of Puerto Mejillones, led by Macarena Escopelito, Head of Sustainability, and Gloria Cartagena, Communities and Communications Coordinator, who explained to the attendees how they have made progress in this area, particularly after the fire that affected the port last year.
"For Ultramar, generating these instances is of utmost importance, as we seek to provide the necessary tools for our Business Units to continue deepening the relationship with their stakeholders. This is the first of two workshops to be held this 2023, and in a second instance we hope to continue addressing the main challenges and lessons learned with success stories that have been presented, thus accompanying the companies and their community and operational teams, training them for a correct link with the environment", said Daniela Celedón, Head of Corporate Sustainability.
This workshop was attended by 32 Ultramar Business Units from Chile and abroad, where the consultant specializing in Sustainability Planning and Management, Gestión Social, addressed issues such as the definition and characteristics of stakeholders, collective impact, and answered the main concerns of Ultramar companies on this subject.
